Our first Featured Mustang of the fall season is senior Elijah Mendoza!
Head Coach Kurt Rutz had this to say about Elijah –
“Elijah Mendoza is a 4 year member of the cross country team. He has been our top runner for the last 3 years, and a member of the varsity squad for the last 3 years. A two-time All Conference medalist, Elijah was 2nd in the conference last year with his best time, 14:41, and narrowly missed qualifying for State by taking 26th at Sectionals. This year Elijah is off to a great start, taking 2nd in the Lake County Invite with a time of 15:50 for 5K.”
